Reverend Arthur J. Morris (1862-1941) was a Baptist minister. He studied at both the Granville Academy and Denison University, as well as Morgan Park Seminary. The Reverend Arthur J. Morris Sermons, dated 1913-1939, contain the typed transcripts of ten sermons written and given by Morris.
Administrative/Biographical History
Arthur J. Morris was born in Wales on September 12, 1862. He immigrated to the United States in 1881. Morris attended Granville Academy from 1885 until 1888. He entered Denison University that fall. Morris also studied at Morgan Park Seminary in Chicago, Illinois (part of the University of Chicago Divinity School). Morris worked as a Baptist minister across several states including Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, and Colorado. He retired in 1926 and lived the rest of his life in Denver, Colorado. Morris died in 1941.
