Special Collections | Archives and Special Collections Catalog
Special Collections holds more than 5,000 titles in numerous subject areas, dating from medieval times to the present. Special Collections materials add value and interest to classroom discussions. For example, artists' books visually communicate their subject matter in ways beyond that of standard print/online texts, while history comes alive when students handle a vellum manuscript leaf from the 14th century.
Some collections are very specific and are described below, such as the Artists' Books Collection and the Otto F. Ege Collection. However, there are also many items in Special Collections that are unique on their own and do not fit within a larger collection group. If you'd like to search the entirety of the Special Collections, you can do so from the library's catalog, Consort.
