Scope and Contents of the Materials
Series contains financial documentation of Denison University's early operations as the "Granville Institution," including bills, receipts, ledgers, correspondence, insurance, renovation expenses, and salary records. Significant portions of the series are small, handwritten bills organized in bundles by year as well as bound volumes. Elements of the series extend into the 20th Century.
