Collection Overview
Title: Regional History
ID: UA/RG-30/ALL
Extent: 11.67 Linear Feet. More info below.
Arrangement: Because of the contextual subject matter of Granville and regional history, some overlap exists within these topics. In 2016, it was decided to combine RG29 Regional History, which covered Licking County, Newark, and surrounding areas, with RG30 Granville History. Two series were created under the revised RG30 Regional History: Series 1 Regional History and Series 2 Granville History. Because of the transition, some box numbers and call numbers may be different from previously published bibliographies and/or citations.
Scope and Contents of the Materials
This record group covers materials related to the history of the Licking County, Newark, and Granville geographic areas. Specific topics include the history of Welsh settlements, early pioneers, and historical local artifacts.
