Title: The Percy Wiltsee Collection
ID: SC/011
Extent: 0.0
Scope and Contents: Denison alumnus and Trustee Percy Wiltsee acquired works from the Limited Editions Club, which was started by George Macy in 1929. The club focused on classic texts, combined with great book design, illustrations, and typography, to produce small runs of books for discerning subscribers. Each book was conceived as an example of fine design, using some of the best publishing houses and printers from around the globe. The books featured works by well-known artists and illustrators, as well. Wiltsee donated these books, and many others, to Denison University.
