Brief Description: The Harriet Mather Papers, dated 1925-1984 December 15, contain materials related to Mather’s work as a nurse. Much of the collection is specific to the Southern Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, where Mather worked for more than thirty years. The collection includes correspondence to and from Mather, Southern Baptist Hospital newsletters and informational booklets, and speech transcripts. There is also a scrapbook of documents related to Denison University’s centennial (1931) and sesquicentennial (1981).
