Brief Description: Denison alumnus Wallace Cathcart, class of 1890, donated a number of books on Scottish and British history to the library; many of these are housed in Special Collections. There are histories of Mary, Queen of Scots, as well as volumes on the Scottish rebellions against England, general histories of Scotland, and more. Cathcart went on to head the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland, Ohio.
