Brief Description: Black and white photographs of Dr. Joseph L. King and family, mostly from an album kept by Dr. King's son, William. Most of the photographs are from Granville during the period 1939-1944, although some document William's time at the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Clippings from the Chattanooga New-Free Press announcing William's graduation from McCallie are also included, as well as two 8x10 black and white photos of Joseph King, from c. 1960.

Arrangement: Photos are kept together according to original arrangement of scrapbook pages. The two large photos were not part of the scrapbook and are in a separate envelope.
Biographical Note for King, William : William Connor King was the son of Dr. Joseph L. King, who taught in the English Department at Denison from 1924 to 1960. The photos were donated to Denison by William King's daughter, Mary Evelyn Arnold.
