Doane Academy (subject file)

Doane Academy served as the preparatory department for Denison from the mid- 1800's until the department closed in 1927.  It functioned much like a modern day high school, preparing students for the academic challenges of college.  This folder contains an inventory for items related to Doane Academy (RG 23) along with a letter from former archivist, Flo Hoffman, regarding a history of Doane Academy that was being written by Tom Gallant in 1993.

This file contains two inventory lists for items in RG 23 (Doane Academy) along with their description and locations and a letter to Tom Gallant from Flo Hoffman giving initial comments on his written history of Doane Academy.
